Dr Tomassoni deserves a good review, as do the PA's who work with him. However (and unfortunately), I would not recommend making an appointment there if you have never been there before. The last 2 times I was told I needed to be seen in 6 mos, but the appointment desk (Lexington office)made me an appt for over 16 months instead. They said he was too busy and practices in several locations. Their attitude was "what do you want me to do about it?", as they shrugged their shoulders. Last time, I called the practice manager and then the schedule coordinator, but they could not make the correct appointment. To make matters worse, the website says Dr Tomassoni accepts new patients, when he clearly can't take appropriate care of his existing patients. By the way I have been in that practice well over 10 years. Save yourself some aggravation if you are looking for a new cardiologist who specializes in electrophysiology. When I asked the office to switch me to a different Dr (who has time for me), they made me an appointment in the wrong location. When I explained that to them, the changed the Dr again. However, this time it was not a cardiologist who specializes in electrophysiology. I give up on them and am going somewhere else.
