Once again Baptist Health was there for us. We were in 4 different units from the cath lab in the 1720 building to ICU, then coming back to ER then admitted to building 1740 3rd floor within 4 days. Getting to a bed from ER room was a little long, however the care in the ER and every other unit was exceptional. Sometimes we have to practice our patience. Thank you everyone for the great care.

Came in and surgury team was great but out of surgury and trying to recover post opp nurses were very loud holding conversations about their kids and personal life to the point it woke me up and gave me a terrible headache. They proceeded to keep the conversation going amongst each other while I was trying to go back to sleep and start feeling better. Very unprofessional and not the type of care I expect from a hospital

Dr Mark Spanier is a reason by itself to come to this hospital.
Last Tuesday evening my wife was in er from 5 to 1130 due to inflammation.
I recognized Dr.Spanier when he walked in and was so glad it was him on duty. He still cares and hasn't reached burn out like alot of other ER docs.
Back in 2022 he save my cousins life after we were sent away from another hospital who failed to diagnose any issue.
This guy is one of the reasons this hospital is becoming the hospital to go to in Eastern Kentucky.
Sorry st Joe's but you guys are blowing it.
About the wait time? Quality is what you're getting so it is worth the time. Phone
Charging stations in the waiting room also.

After a trip to the ER my son ended up being admitted to the hospital. We couldn't be more satisfied with the treatment he has received. All staff members we have come in contact with have been excellent. The staff on 6th floor of North has been so helpful and encouraging. (Especially Kelsey and Sam.) The radiology staff went above and beyond to make sure a biopsy was done in time before the weekend break. We haven't come in contact with a single rude staff member from housekeeping to technicians, nursing staff to all the doctors. If we have to be here at least they are making it a little easier for us and we are so thankful.

I sit here with my grand daughter for over 4 hours over an upset stomach and pain. They couldn't find anything wrong, and only prescribed nausea meds. Yet we sit there all morning. The when it was time for discharge papers, the doc went to lunch. Then had to wait for him to come back, to go into an emergency. Left us sitting there for another hour cause I was told only the doc could sign the discharge papers. To find out we set there all that extra time just to find out the nurse could have do e it hours ago. I'll never come back here again by God's grace!
