Absolutely love Dr Strickmeyer! He is kind and caring. He talks to you not at you and he listens to your concerns. He spends time with you to better understand what is going on.

Had quadruple by pass in 2018 and still doing great. My surgeon Dr. Karl Unicny need a great job. He has since retired and will be greatly missed. My cardiologist Robert Strickmeyer also did a great job of finding the problem I had with my heart conditions. Great hospital and staff.

I've never left a review before, but my poor experience with Dr. Strickmeyer compels me to share this in the hope that potential patients reconsider their choice. My visit left me feeling unheard, disrespected, and entirely dismissed. From the start, Dr. Strickmeyer's demeanor was belittling. When I asked clarifying questions to better understand his initial inquiries, his tone, choice of words, and facial expressions conveyed a condescending attitude reminiscent of a schoolyard bully. In addition, his casual use of profanities was both unprofessional and jarring in a medical setting. To conclude our appointment, he abruptly ended the conversation with a fist bump, leaving no room for further questions or concerns. I came to Dr. Strickmeyer seeking clarity on whether I might have any underlying heart conditions that could affect my ability to safely pursue ADHD medication. Instead of addressing my concerns thoroughly or providing evidence-based guidance, he dismissed my inquiry with outdated, anecdotal remarks. He suggested I simply "find a quiet room to study" and lamented that parents no longer assign chores to their children. At one point, he even said, "My wife would diagnose me with ADHD to the nth degree. You just have to keep yourself busy." These comments lacked any scientific basis or professional rigor and seemed entirely inappropriate given the purpose of the visit. Medicine is not my field, but I know that this is not how a healthcare professional should treat a patient. A physician's role is to listen, educate, and provide evidence-based care--not to belittle, dismiss, or rely on personal anecdotes. My experience with Dr. Strickmeyer fell far short of these expectations, and I urge others to carefully consider whether they want to entrust their health to him.

My husband's experience with Dr. Strickmeyer and the staff at the St. Elizabeth Physicians office was a very positive experience. We arrived early for his appointment and were seen ahead of schedule. All necessary subjects were covered during his appointment, and we were out the door slightly ahead of his actual appointment time.
