On July 29th of this year, It took 12 hours to get medical attention for my overdose attempt, 5 hours to hear from my doctor. I was crying in hallways begging for help because I was so isolated and everyone was ignoring me. They "mistakenly" tried to outpatient me and refused to let me talk to my doctor about the situation for hours and threatened me. Multiple calls were ignored, or just making empty promises. If they would've listened to me, this would have been a completely different situation. I want something to come from this because I don't want someone to be treated like this, to be scared, alone and treated not human for being mentally ill.
This whole experience is honestly shocking, scary, and unreasonable of why I was treated this way. I understand it was a long process but this could've been sorted out if I could've talked to someone, or it would have been different if I was being told point blank what was happening. I'm disappointed by the way my case was handled. I was not fairly represented, advocated, or listened to. I'm still shaking thinking back on it and it upsets me about how I was ignored, minimized, when I was clearly asking for help.
This older woman specifically should not be working with at-risk people as she actively went out of her way to either ignore me or rile me up further after freaking out about the HUGE MESS UP that caused me to stay 5 hours longer. While I was crying and begging for help from others, she told them to ignore me and explained Train your staff to better help people by not threatening and IGNORING them, how read paperwork correctly, not grab patients breasts without warning, and to not hang up on people repeatedly calling for help. They also have refused to respond to me, have their staff properly apologize, and expect me to pay fully for this. Their "apology" was saying it was a misunderstanding, and I could leave, Dr. Yoder and the 2 nurses made me feel pressured to resolve the issue as I was afraid they'd twist the story and try to "mistakenly" outpatient me again. They still refuse to respond or try to help resolve this even after calling multiple times.

Excellent customer service! In an extremely busy the staff was outstanding on October 16. My mom received excellent attention. This staff handles pressure very well. Side note: There was a really kind staff member(dressed in a nice pant suit) that I would also like to commend.
God bless this staff sincerely

Our experience in the er was not good. My husband was transported from SBA hospital to Wesley and we were in 2 different rooms in the er. Only one very good nice nurse was attentive to his needs. Darius

I have never felt more disregarded, not listened to, and disrespected in my life while attempting to seek medical attention. My doctor was Jason Daniel's and he hardly listened to my history and barely did a check up before he said there was nothing they can do so I need to see a specialist which could take months. When I told him I have been in severe pain on and off for over a week and unable to eat he prescribed a medication that seemed unrelated to my symptoms and reiterated that there is nothing that can be done and I'll need to see a specialist. This is after I have seen three doctors who have told me that I need to go to the er once I got to the point I was at. They were quick and efficient I'll give them that but it was only because they didn't take the time nor did they care to listen and properly give me medical attention. I am beyond disgusted and disappointed with the care that this place gave me and would not recommend going here to anyone.

My wife was in there. The staff was amazing from the time we walked in the door at admissions throughout my stay till I was dismissed the next day. Everyone was friendly, and knew exactly what their job was. Dr. Byrd was amazing and did a great job along with the whole team in the surgical area.
