Went today for a new patient appointment. Waited 35mins past our appointment time and still had not been called back. I work in a medical office and understand that sometimes it happens. But this was "normal" for this office. We did all of the paperwork ahead of time and arrived 15mins early so as to be prepared and ready at our appointment time and not waste the Doctors time. Too bad they don't view the patients time as valuable.

Dr. Tauke and the entire staff are courteous and professional. I had a list of questions I needed to ask and didn't feel rushed to get through them. Every question was answered and test results were discussed. I've also asked questions through the portal and received the same care and compassion. Highly recommended!

The office is organized and has a nice atmosphere. Dr. Tauke explained everything well and was very knowledgeable. He is comfortable to talk to and answers all your questions. His immediate staff was very professional and friendly.

I saw Dr. Ashcom in the beginning of October 2023. After the experience I had it is safe to say I will never recommend him to anyone ever. I came to see him after being referred from my local ER when I had gone in for an SVT episode. When I saw him, they did an EKG, doppler, and put a two week moniter on me. During the appointment I was told by him that he would refer me to an electrophysiologist. Well a few weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything, so I gave them a call. I spoke to his nurse who then told me he had never said anything about referring me to the electrophysiologist. Well that's simply not true, because I had no idea what that was prior to the appointment. My mother also attended the appointment with me, and heard the exact same thing, so I didn't appreciate being treated as though I had made it up. I also think it's important to note that he took a personal call on his cell phone not only during my appointment, but also the appointment that my mom had of her own. In my case, it was his wife calling to ask him if he could drop her off a pack of cigarettes. I thought it was very unprofessional since he stopped my appointment to take this call, and also took it in the room with me so that I could hear everything. Since the end of October I have heard absolutely nothing about further treatment plans or any findings on the monitor. I have called multiple time and left multiple messages and have NEVER gotten a call back, with the last message I left being around two weeks ago. I also am seeing a neurologist who attempted to get ahold of him for clearance on a medication he wanted to put me on, and even my neurologist hasn't been able to reach him. I have however, received a bill for the appointment and the tests, but no call back or results. I think that is very telling about how they see their patients. It is of no importance to them how their patience are actually doing as long as they receive payment. I am very upset with the way this all has been handled and if you are thinking about seeing Dr. Ashcom I urge you to look elsewhere.
