I was taken by ambulance to the ER. My family waited over an hour to hear about any updates regarding my condition. This is unacceptable patient care. People come to the ER injured or sick and family members are scared. My family should have been notified much sooner about my condition, tests or status. They could have been able to join me sooner and be reassured. Please consider improving patient care regarding communication to family members.
