Not my Dr. but my 85 yo mother's. Dismissive of her during visits. Office repeatedly ignores calls for her heart med refills, or says they will do it and don't. I finally went in person to get the office to do the refill, they stated it was done -a few days later lo and behold it wasn't! It's maddening. Staff clearly does not enjoy working there either. All around don't recommend.
Can't believe I gave him any stars. I have never dealt with such a arrogant person. I was hospitalized Tuesday through Friday for severe back pain I'm no stranger having gone through previous surgeries for spinal Stenosis. I came to silver cross emergency Saturday again because pain level was at s 10 and extremely nauseous. Dr McCormick came in and started on me about what do I want him to do. He walked around the walker I use for a neurological condition and remarked how I sounded like I was doing pretty good on the pain meds by the way I was speaking. He was informed that this was my base line for speech. He then proceeded to ask me if I wanted him to go out and get his toolbox. That he would come back in and flip me over and cut a hole in back and take the disc out. Then he preceded to say that maybe I just want them to admit me so they can pump me full of drugs. I have dealt with silver cross for years and have always given them a 10. I have never been treated like this ever. I am getting in contact with hospital and will not let this go. Silver cross is a wonderful hospital and I wouldn't think they would approve of this behavior. So if anyone runs into him in ER, do yourself a favor and ask to see different dr
I cannot believe that this doctor has no time for his patient. Had a medical emergency and his office does not seem to care. His office is operated like an assembly line. Over booking and leaving no room for emergencies. Hope no one needs to see him quickly, you will be disappointed.
Honestly he didn't even see me for more than 15 minutes between both visits. Did not seem to know what was on the report that was referred to him. So when I asked him a question about it he didn't even know it was a issue. Terrible experience and would not recommend this Dr.
