Had same day surgery for a total knee. Every single person I interacted with was professional, kind, and caring. The CRNA, Derick, was phenomenal. I had an entire team working with me and the experience was exceptional. Surgery went flawless and care was excellent. Highly recommended.

Having relocated from a large city, the care here was superior in every way. 10 days in hospotal, not a single issue. Staff was amazing, admin was as well.

No one who is sick should have to spend 8 to 10 hours at a ER to get treatment. That has been my experience at mercy ER. You could sit in there for hours before you see a nurse or a doctor. You shouldn't have to go look for help when you go to a hospital.

When you have insurance you are penalized. I prepaid For an upcoming procedure and there is no discount but if I was uninsured there is a discount that is crazy no wonder more Americans don't have insurance. You can get it cheaper if you're uninsured. The employees and the care that is given at this hospital is extremely wonderful some of their policies need to be reviewed.

Absolutely abysmal customer service at this facility. As an Army infantryman preparing to deploy overseas, my family was denied the ability to schedule medical services due to concerns that my "insurance would change," which was, in the first place, an absurd assumption considering the fact that I had already been on active service for nearly seven months. While trying to clear up this issue, I was hung up on by multiple receptionists despite maintaining a calm, respectful demeanor. The medical industry was once made up of people who genuinely cared about the patient; it is evident that MercyOne Dubuque prefers to hire people who neither care to help their patients nor have any concern for common decency. As a deploying soldier with a thousand other worries on my mind, I shouldn't have to worry that my family's medical care provider would be so callous under the circumstances. Disgusting
