Finding Dr. Grant and MercyOne Sleep Center changed my life. I've been looking for answers to my exhaustion since I was 17 years old. I've seen various doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists in 5 different cities and 2 different states before I found Dr. Grant. (And I'm so grateful that they take self-referrals!) Dr. Grant was the first doctor to listen intently to my history and symptoms and to view my issues as a sleep disorder rather than mental illness. From the very first consultation, he took me seriously and wanted to help me find answers. I first met him 5 months ago, completed all of my sleep testing (PSG & MSLT) 2 months ago, and have been on treatment for idiopathic hypersomnia for a month now. I never imagined I would feel this awake again or able to participate in my daily life in a way that feels "normal." It took me almost 10 years to get answers, and I know had I not found Dr. Grant & the MercyOne Sleep Center, it would have been even longer. I will forever be grateful to everyone there.
