Please avoid this provider. I accompanied my elderly mother to her appointment and was shocked by the lack of professionalism and basic bedside manner. Upon entering the room, the provider stood at his computer typing without acknowledging my mother or introducing himself. He then called scheduling and reprimanded staff for an alleged error--doing so in front of us--still without addressing my mother. When scheduling called back, he again spoke to them curtly and rudely in front of us. At that point, I calmly asked whether he always makes patients feel like an inconvenience. He abruptly said, "We're done here," and walked out of the room. Moments later, he returned briefly, visibly agitated, with clenched fists and heavy breathing, which felt intimidating. He stated that scheduling had made a mistake and that he was "very upset and angry." When I attempted to respond respectfully, he slammed the door in my face. The behavior was alarming, unprofessional, and entirely inappropriate--especially when caring for elderly patients. No patient or family member should be treated this way, nor should staff be spoken to in such a manner. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this provider to an animal let alone a person.

I would not go to this cardiologist ever again. I feel like the Care he gave me was no Care at all I went in with a fib and they have been switching from one drug to the next because I wasn't able to take it because for some reason my body can't adjust to the meds. I pretty much had to make my own decisions in everything he just kept giving me one drug after another till I thought I was going to lose my mind and I had to go off all meds except for my blood thinner and pray that I don't go into a fib they take no concern of what I'm going through. The nurses have updated him, but he has no answer for any different care for me. I feel like I'm just a throwaway. I thought heart issues were important and would be taken seriously but with this doctor, obviously not so if I was anyone, I would not take him for a cardiologist just has no care for his patience I have been in the emergency room with many side effects from all the drugs that they gave me from low blood pressure to high blood pressure to chest pains to fold in my head to just feeling like I don't even care about life at all I don't think any of this is right and a doctor can just let you be like this and not admit you in the hospital to figure out what's going on this is my review. And I don't feel bad for leaving it just to warn everybody about this doctor

Went to Dr wagdey as I moved to Iowa from Florida he took my Case after reading the report from Florida. He knew exactly what to do and didn't stop at nothing he put in 2 stents he saved my husband life we will be for ever grateful for Dr wagdey He is the Greatest

My husband only went to him for cardiac clearance for surgery in 4 days..He is a rude horrible provider..My husband almost walked out..For one thing that was my husband's first and only time seeing him..he didn't even talk to my husband..he talked down to him and was on the phone the entire time..We will always see Dr. Vamkentosh...never Dr. WAGDY again...I will never refer anyone to him..

I meet Dr Wagdy after a heart attack 5 years ago, and I hold the man in the utmost respect for his abilities. He is no nonsense when dealing with heart issues, and holds his patients care as his highest goal each day. Very fortunate to have him as the cardiologist I was given when I arrived at St Lukes. Thank you for all you done sir!
