I've been to a few ERs in my life, and this one has got to be the most mishandled, slow ERs I've ever been to. My first visit I came for pneumonia, waited 3 1/2 hours to be seen. The day I'm posting this review I need to be seen over potentially cracked ribs from an accident. I have been waiting 4 hours currently. Rooms have opened up but everyone who got here after me seems to taken care of first. I get there is priority for certain illness or injuries but I watched a family leave with their kid (kid was intaked) because they waited so long. I've read the reviews, NO ONE should be waiting 2+ hours in an ER. Use the intake room as an extra room for blood tests or consultation. If you're short staffed, higher more staff, if you keep running out of rooms, build more rooms. Edit: thanks for the reply, I'm glad I didn't receive the generic "we value your concerns call this number" also if you bothered to read my review you'll see that I'm fully aware of how illness and critical care tiers work. Your staff was fantastic during my visit, your business model isn't. You're not gonna keep bothering me with emails to tell me to take down my review. This is my opinion, you want it changed? Fix the problem people have been having for the last 8 years (read your own reviews)

Dr. William Rogers nearly cost me my life. I was brought in by ambulance in February 2024 with severe hyponatremia (a sodium level of 122). I was cramping, experiencing grand mal seizures, and could barely articulate anything besides screaming for help. Instead of recognizing a medical emergency, he had a nurse inject me with an antipsychotic and dismissed my symptoms as an "anxiety attack." Both he and the nurse were incredibly rude and dismissive. He then rapidly corrected my sodium--something that should never be done--and left me alone in the room for hours while I continued to seize. Eventually, he discharged me to the waiting room even though I was still seizing, confused, and disoriented. The next day, another doctor told me he could have killed me. I dealt with nystagmus and neurological symptoms for months afterward. The entire experience left me with PTSD, and I now struggle deeply with fear and mistrust of medical professionals.

Came from Burlington Iowa for some testing my husband needed. After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what we were coming into. Let me tell you, there are absolutely no complaints. From registration, to labs, to the scans, everything and everyone was perfect. Very respectful and friendly. Would never hesitate to use this facility.

Recently had back surgery here. Hands down best hospital in the Quad Cities. Doctors and staff were amazing. Room was quiet and once the doctor released me, they had me out the door in 45 minutes. It was still morning when I got home! Truly amazing. Plus back surgery was a success! Highly recommend!

The staff was nice and friendly but under ZERO circumstances should I or anyone else be sitting in an ER waiting room for 2+ hours without even speaking to a Dr or being seen. This is absolutely outrageous. If you're short staffed, hire more staff. I've never had such a bad experience and now I'm leaving without even being seen cause I sat in the waiting room of the ER for 3 hours!!!
