Stay away!! 1) Kept me on medication that was not working. 2) Added to the medication that was not working. 3) Added a name brand medication, to a generic that I was already taking. 4) Refused to take me off medication, that was giving me side effects. 5) Left the examining room to make some copies of my medical report from a previous physician. Did not return to the examining room, when I had some additional questions. Never excused himself. Never stated that he would return nor asked if I had any additional questions, before leaving the examining room. I ended up going to Urgent Care, and they dropped two of the medicines that were giving me side effects, and added a new one. No more side effects!! My blood pressure has dropped 24 points respectively, on both the upper and lower numbers. I have a new family doctor now with only two prescriptions, who wants feedback to my new medicines in a week. Something that I never received from Doctor Carrington's office. Him, as well as his two "medical blind spots," wanted to either "stay the course" with the current four prescriptions that were not working, or simply add to the prescriptions that were not working, and giving me side effects as a result. I told them that my blood pressure was in the 170's/100's. They wanted me to bring in my bp monitor at my next visit in a couple weeks, to see if I knew how to use it. ...my bp at Dr. Carrington's office at my first visit? 180/110 My first Dr. in March? 190/120 I haven't a clue, as how to use this thing... Update: My records were transferred to my new physician on 07/07/2015. However, I received a message yesterday from Dr. Carrington's office, (7/23/2015) regarding my upcoming appointment. (naturally I cancelled) Dr. Carrington has also taken the liberty to prescribe a medication that... 1) I cannot take. (I notified him of this when I was his patient) 2) Renewed this prescription to two refills, and sent it over to my current pharmacy on 07/22/2015, when I'm no longer his patient. I noticed this today in my medical portal. In addition, I have already contacted my pharmacy earlier this week, not to contact me on this particular drug, because I cannot take it. Unfortunately, the charge for this drug has already been processed. ...I have notified my insurance company of this today (07/24/2015)
