Dr. Nasser

I have been seeing Dr. Nasser for over 13 years. I believe I am alive today because of the excellent care I receive from him and his team. This January, I had a fall and saw his PA Stephanie and Dr. Nasser. After several tests and adjustments in medications I am much better. I will continue to have this team take care of me.

I was a new patient never having seen this Dr before. He entered the room and hugged me and asked how he knew me and then stated that yes he had done surgery on me. Then he sat down and threw a two inch file of mine in the air stating I had made great progress and was doing well. Did not state how he knew this. Then indicated that he was to provide a cardiac clearance for me for surgery from a Dr that already had done surgery on me. I have been to places all over the US and world including Japan, Taiwan, Okinawa, most U.S. states and big cities and never had to have one Dr approve surgery by a Dr who already had done surgery. Then he stated he was giving me surgery clearance. Said he wished I had time to do an EKG and I indicated I just was given one as he found it on his desk. Then he left the room and quickly came back because he had forgotten to listen to my heart...in order to give the cardiac clearance.He grabbed his stethoscope and listened to my heart. During the time in the exam room, he appeared bored and distracted and would just look around the room in a strange manner. I will not return and why does Terre Haute insist one doctor need to give approval for another doctor to do surgery? A way to get extra money?

On Mother's Day 2023 my wife had a heart attack. We have been so blessed by having Dr T Nasser treating my wife. He has demonstrated a very caring attitude combined with obvious medical skills. He has been so giving of his time with me, my wife, our family. When a 2nd Cardiac incident occurred in the Hospital, we were so confident because Dr Nasser was in control. Our family strongly recommends Dr Nasser as a Doctor but just as important we recommend him as a person.

Dr. Nasser was called in after I had a fall. I thought it was a simple broken arm but after the ER doc investigated why I fell and my PCP referred me to Dr. Nasser. He jumped in and found I had a congenital bicuspid valve that was failing and an aortic aneurysm that required immediate surgery. He got me to Indy and into the hands of an amazing surgeon within 2 days of my fall 6 months after my OHS I am slowly healing but I believe that having Dr. Nasser as a part of my healthcare team saved my life. He is straightforward and does not give you BS.

When I had a Cv event,he came into the hospital on his way home, explained what was going on,gave me my options and done a surgery on the weekend. He's been very thorough and listens to my concerns. Hard to find doctors that want to listen to their patients in this town. Happy to have such a good and very experienced Dr treating me.
