Deaconess Heart Group at the Heart Hospital

Even short staffed or not took over a hour at times to get meds to me or to even see my nurse. I'd go a entire nurse shift without even seeing my nurse but one time at times. But yet they have time to play on their phones. Also dietary never tells you when food is at your door even when they have orders to do so. Came in with infection ended up with pace maker and this has been the worse most unorganized unpleasant unreasonably slow visit I've ever had here. From here on out I'm going to St Vincent's hospital. Deaconess has turned into a joke Took them 8 days to get me pressure socks for swelling like seriously it's beyond reasonable. It's just plain lazy and lack of effort or care for the patients themselves

I'm 33 years old and had triple bypass open heart surgery on December 7 2017.. I was scared and felt like giving up but with the help of my family and the nurses and staff here I was able to overcome all of that!! Abby, Lori, and everyone else I had the pleasure of working with I thank you all!! I just finished my rehab yesterday and already I miss you all!! I would highly recommend the staff here at Deaconess Cardiac Rehab!! And also all the nurses who took care of me at the Heart Group and my surgeon Dr Lee Wagmeister for saving my life!! And also Dr Banuru for having caught this before I did have a massive heart attack!! I love you all and consider you lifelong friends!!

I wanna say thank you to the heart hospital staff I couldn't have been in better hands. The staff was awesome very professional yet down to earth definitely made me feel like I was a priority. So With all my heart I says thank you sincerely Troy White

Pacemaker put in wrong... nurses playing on phone tell patient theyre *to busy* to attend to patient.. nurses arguing loudly in hall... running only 4 + hours behind schedule ... had to tube and vac pump patient heart cause of bad pacemaker.. this is horrible... stay away!! One dr even said patients earlier diagnosis were wrong.. then another dr comes in and says nope theyre right.. Deaconess should PAY the patients ...

Great place for therapy and they did an excellent job with my mom. People will always complain about something, even if their giving a second chance and that's sad.
