Everyone extremely friendly from start to finish. They each took time to make sure I was comfortable and helped relieve my anxiety. Very thorough with questions before procedure. Colonoscopy was around 30 minutes.

Husband went here for preventative colon screening in January. It was coded incorrectly, so insurance would not cover 100%. Their billing department refused to resubmit bill. So we had to pay a total of $2,200 to Internal Medicine Associates, the facility, the anesthesia and lab bills. Then they stopped sending us a statement to pay them! I have called 3 times now and still no statement! The last statement was issued in March! Now it's way past due and they are reviewing it for collections! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Or you'll Be sorry too!!!

I saw Dr. Fesenmyer in September of 2020. I was referred to him by a colorectal surgeon. He diagnosed me with Crohn's and without doing any baseline blood work, he started me on an immunosuppressant. I had picked up a bacterial infection in my intestine during the colonoscopy that diagnosed Crohn's disease. Because he started me on biologic without seeing if I had an underlying infection, I got very sick. As I reported complications to him, he started me on a second immunosuppressant, and didn't order blood work until after I started taking it. When I reported complications from the medications, his office informed me they were not related to the medication he prescribed. -- Looking up the medication, many of the problems I had were common side effects of that medication. Had he done blood work, I could have skipped being violently ill for several weeks. I now have more health problems from the infection, including damage done to my intestines, and an enlarged prostate. I would not recommend him for treatment of Crohn's. He treated my mild Crohn's disease, and now I have multiple health problems that could have been avoided. I don't know if it was a lack of knowledge about Crohn's, or sheer laziness, but either way, it's very upsetting knowing my general health was damaged by this doctor, and it was all completely avoidable. Please see someone else.
