Philip C. Krause, MD - IU Health Cardiology - Lafayette

Dr. Krause has been caring for my mother for over 15 years. She has had 2 pace makers is 86 in still living independently. She has a wifi monitor for her pacemaker. Dr. Krause always explains things so she can understand & has always given us options for her care. Wish more doctors could care like he does!

Dr. Krause took care of my mother for almost 2 years. At the age of 86, she experience 2 times where she either fainted or was having symptoms of a heart attack. His testing and analysis of test were obviously poor, because 1 week after a stress test he deemed "fine" my mother suffered a major heart attack. For whatever the reason, he was unable to detect 4 blockages in her heart that were obviously there the week before she had the heart attack. Further complications from her stay and care at IU Health Arnett have now involved to her rapid decline as she is now in congestive heart failure. My mother may have already been elderly, but was living independently. 2 years under the care of this doctor she is now in assisted living, weak, constantly feeling unwell and unable to care for herself and her basic needs. I would not be very confident in the kind of care he provides

Very personable and explains the situation in great detail. Dr. Krause has years of experience and knowledge, and you can certainly tell when talking to him. I'd certainly recommend him.

Due to a change in health insurance I had to change Cardiologists; it was a blessing in disguise. I learned so much more about my heart condition and defibrillator. I am very confident being in the care of Dr Krause.

One of the best doctors I ever met no joke He listens to people He found an issue with a part on my implant device. One of the wires broke I trust him with my life Compared to my old horrible doctor I had. He's priceless
