He served his internship and residency in both internal medicine and pediatrics at Yale New Haven and Bridgeport Hospitals in Connecticut. He completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in the division of transplantation at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts and master of science degrees from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Paul also serves on the Community Heart and Vascular Board of Managers.

When I first met Dr. Paul, I'd already discovered I had cardiomyopathy by seeing a pulmonary doctor because of breathing problems. He worked very quickly to get me on the right medicine and dosage so I could get back to having the energy I needed to take care of my daughter while my husband was deployed. I've been a patient of his for 8 years, and he's always been awesome! Would highly recommend him.
Dr. Paul is the friendliest and best cardiologist I have ever had. His bedside manor is the best, he has a great sense of humor. I love him as a doctor. I was one of his first patients when he started at community south I 1995 .
