Dr. Llobet is the best! He has the mastered the art of being a caring doctor. He puts his patient before himself, his skills are amazing. In my experience with Dr's I only wish that he were the example they would all strive for, attentive, discerning, polite, gives his time, great staff .
I highly suggest that LIobet gets some sort of Dementia test or cognitive screening done on himself because the guy clearly cannot remember the procedures he's performed nor the patients he's worked on. If the patient has to remind the doctor what the doctor has done and when, what good is the doctor? I took a family member for a follow up and absolutely nothing was done or checked... He didn't remember anything that he did he also didn't know how to look at medical records until another nurse had to show him. He had to be reminded that he did a procedure. Seriously people seek another cardiologist or go elsewhere this guy is toying with the health of people.
Dr Llobet has been the family Dr for a long time so it was obvious who to see when a Cardiologist is to be seen. Went to the Hammond office for a cardiac clearance for surgery. After seeing the Dr and telling him what I was in for, he never check my blood pressure after telling him my Dr took me off my low dose blood pressure medication. Sent me for and X ray, Echo and Stress test...to this day over two months later, I was never told my results from the echo or stress test, the xray....seen the results on Mychart that the radiologist that read my results recommended that I get another x ray done in 1-2 weeks but when Dr Llobets office called me after all these were done...not a word on anything just that I was clear for surgery.
Apr 09, 2018 I walked out of the doctor's office. They're in the back singing happy birthday. It's very ignorant to put off seeing patients, especially when they have been in a room & vitals checked for 30 minutes. I waited 20 mins to be put in a room & I had an 830 a.m. appointment! This was after I was there Thurs & had to reschedule because the doctor was called into surgery. It's been 5 hours since I left & not even a call to see what happened or where I went. Zero care for patients! Awful!
In five minutes he detailed every symptom that I had with my heart failure, finishing up tapping my torso telling me that I was "barrel-chested because I had been a smoker." [I had been a quarter-century two-pack a day smoker from 1966-1991.]
