Dr Kamath and Dr McPhail are wonderful and their staff are very professional and knowledgeable. My husband and I have been with this team for a number of years and they are wonderful. The Cardiac rehab is a wonderful place to go and learn plus workout ! The staff is great and a pleasure to be around !!
Came here a couple of months ago and it was one of the worst experiences I've had at a doctors appointment. I forget the name of the doctor I saw but he was not only really rude, but very judgmental and he kept making comments about my height (I am over 6ft) saying I should've played football among other things and it honestly made me feel a little uncomfortable. Do not recommend
I started going to Goshen heart and vascular just this past month I'm newly diagnosed with some minor issues the medication I'm prescribed started making me feel really awful I called they kept saying just keep trying it. I broke out in hives and had an allergic reaction so I stoped taking the medicine. I called at 8 am Monday morning and left a message with a lady about what was going on she said she'd get it to the team and they'd call. Monday all day no call... call first thing Tuesday morning again explain what was going ok, lady on the phone oh no that doesn't sound good I'll put urgent on the note... all day still no call... I guess I'll try again. Just stinks because it's already unnerving when there's something going on but when you can't get a response that stinks too.
Back in January they call me when I was on my way to the heart and vascular to reschedule my appointment because the doctor could not be there. I was ok with it because things happened. In February I accidentally sleep through my appointment and then I call them the texted day and tried to reschedule my appointment and then they told me that I had to pay 25 dollars. It seems like that should apply to the doctors as well. I think that it makes me feel like we are only a dollar sign not a person. I told them that I was not going to pay the money until the doctor pays me for his cancelation to. I have not been back but his assistant called and left a message. I called back a left a message for her to call me back and I haven't received a call from her. That just valued my appenion about what i think is happening there. I have been with the heart and vascular center for seven years and I have never missed a appointment. That is what makes me mad about this situation.
Appointment was on time staff was friendly,doctor was great. Goshen health is the best.
