I used to be a patient of Dr. Shelley when I stayed in Gary and she was by far the best ever. She listens and actually cares, not one of those have you waiting all day and out in 5 minutes. My children, myself and mother went so her. When I relocated I would go home just to have appointments with her until I found a doctor in my new city. She's the best, if you're lucky to have her as your doctor, hold on to her, she's a gem!!!
Dr. Shelley Sandiford is the best doctor I have ever had and I hope I can find another physician similar to her medical care. Dr. Sandiford is no longer at Tatum Family Health Center and I will truly miss her medical care and professionalism.
I visited Dr. Sandiford's office over a month ago in October. Upon initial visit, I waited almost an hour after my appointment time to be seen. I was suppose to receive a prescription and a referral that I did not receive after seeing the doctor. After a few weeks, I called multiple times and left voice mails regarding getting an update on the status of my records. NO RESPONSE. Three and a half weeks after my initial visit, I went to the office in person and complained to which they finally gave me the referral I was suppose to receive upon my initial visit. However, my record status was still not available and they told me I would receive something in the mail. As of today, six weeks after my initial visit, I STILL have not received any update. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! I contacted BCBS IL and made a formal complaint regarding this doctor and medical group. Needless to say, I am NEVER returning.
Dr. Sandiford is one of the best clinicians! She's kind and relays scholary information well.
