I especially enjoyed Sam, the nurse who took my information before the Dr comes in. She is so empathetic and knowledgeable. Not only did she help me feel comfortable, she also helped me feel heard, seen, and as a human with real needs. My heart Dr., Dr. Wheeler was also a joy to have as a part of my health journey team. He was very professional, showed empathy, and was very knowledgeable when it came to my hearts condition. It was an over an hour drive and I would gladly take it as many times as needed. They both deserve recognition for hard work, customer care, and for going above and beyond for their patients.

Dr. Wheeler was very helpful in the follow up appointment. All checked out well and I only need to return if I have a problem. I am very satisfied with his demeanor, knowledge and concern. I would highly recommend him.

Registration window staff, the nurse, and the Dr., were expect-professional, polite . The doctor gave me focussed hearings and answered my all questions. Dr., is my Cardiologist since 2017 and did Catherizatiion twice in 2017 and 2021. Doctor is excellent- polite and professional.

Dr. Sujoy Phookan gave me one of the worst provider experiences I've ever had. He completed no hand hygiene in the entire visit, his scrubs were visibly stained and his lab coat had about a 4 inch tear in it. He didn't review my information before seeing me, spent a large part of appointment trying to find the information in my referral. He didn't ask if I had questions or concerns about his plan for my care, dismissing me as a person. When I talked about a referral for a condition that might be causing disorder he was treating he googled it in front of me and then told me it could wait. He ended the appointment without checking in or asking if I had questions, and ushered me out the door. Clearly too busy to care about my treatment or autonomy. This has impacted my opinion of IUHealth as a company and provider.

I recently had a cardiac catheterization performed by Dr Phookan. The procedure was completed in a professional and timely manner. Dr Phookan's explanation of my condition was professional and thorough. My attending nurse was Shriya. She is a very professional and compassionate person. She was very comforting and attentive. She responded to my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Dr Phookan and Shriya provided excellent heath care.
