The front desk was all remarkably kind, so I had high hopes when arriving. Those hopes were crushed the second Dr. Atta entered the room. She is a disgrace to the medical profession, showed zero compassion, and was downright disrespectful the entire five minutes of our visit. She was also at least ten minutes late. She began with a distinctly cold hello, and did not do anything to put me at ease. She also did not offer to shake my hand. I responded with a greeting, she sat down, looked me dead in the eye, and the first thing she said was, "I saw your NORMAL charts." Very cold; no compassion. She was picking a fight. She continued in a monologue for a short while without even asking why I was there. She cared nothing about me or anything I thought. Once I realized she wasn't going to stop to ask me anything, I respectfully but firmly interjected, "I've been told I'm crazy, there's nothing wrong, it's not a big deal, and I just need to get over it. I'm not crazy, there is something wrong, and you need to find It. I have the charts to prove it." She immediately responded by arguing with me about the charts, and NEVER asked me for more information about anything. She did not want to hear anything about what I had to say. She had me get on the bed and told me to take some breaths through my mouth as she put the stethoscope on my back. After she switched to my neck, I asked if I should keep breathing. She ignored me. After she was finished listening she coldly asked me, "Did you say something?" I clarified what I said, to which she snarkily replied, "It's usually a good thing to do. You know, breathing." Then she said her diagnosis and recommended course of action. After she finished I questioned both. She gave a short, heartless reply, clearly not interested in anything I had to say. I responded, "So you're not interested in anything I have to say, care nothing about my family history, and do not care about my test results?" She gave a short retort then said loudly stated, "We're done here." And stormed out of the room, nearly slamming the door on the way out. She then had the audacity to have the test she recommended sent to my house without my permission, even though I had not consented to it. To make matters worse, I was told the office does not have complaint forms. At noon that day I got a text from iRythym saying the device had shipped and was en route to my house. WHAT THE HECK? I did not consent to this. I had to call them myself just to be told I can't cancel. 2 hours later I get a call from Nurse Heidi who had the audacity to tell me 3 times that she thinks I should take the test. But I can cancel if I want by calling the same number that told me I can't. At no point did she apologize for anything that happened. What kind of circus is this?
