Dr. Parag Doshi is the founding director of Chicago Cardiology Institute. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Christ Hospital/ Rush University, where he also served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. He subsequently pursued his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Indiana Heart Institute under the tutelage of Late Dr. Thomas J. Linnemeier, one of the leading pioneers in the field. He is board certified in Cardiovascular disease, Interventional cardiology and also Nuclear cardiology.

I had a visit with my cardiologist Dr Doshi to go over my results. I had a very positive experience with the nurse practitioner during my recent visit to the cardiologist. She took the time to thoroughly explain all of my test results in detail, making sure I understood everything clearly. I truly appreciated how patient and attentive she was, answering every question and addressing all of my concerns without ever making me feel rushed. Her calm and knowledgeable manner put me at ease, and I left the appointment feeling well-informed and reassured about my care plan. It's clear she is dedicated to her patients and takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality care.
I have been coming to this cardiologist for a few years now and unfortunately service has been getting worst. Every time I have an appointment I have to wait 30-45 minutes just to be called. Once I get to the back to start my exam process it's another 30-45 minutes. Today I literally walked out disgusted. Not only did I wait 35 minutes but the staff allowed patients to be on their cell phones. I had to hear 3 people on the phone on personal phone calls and staff did nothing to silence them. It's a doctors office and having full fledged conversations should not be allowed. Staff should of asked them to get off their phones and respect other patients waiting to be called. Definitely looking for another cardiologist going forward.
