Steven Kim, MD

I have met many doctors in my life, but Dr. Steven Kim seems to be the best of the best. I was worried about changing doctors because the doctor near my house moved far away, but Dr. Kim is so kind and explains things in detail that I can't even remember my previous doctor. I think he is a really good doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Steven Kim to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kim for many years--since my mid-20s (I'm in my late 30s now!). He was first recommended to me by a friend, and since then, I've referred several friends and relatives to his care. I deeply trust his judgment and rarely feel that he's too busy to listen to my concerns. While there have been moments where he seemed understandably rushed, I've never felt that the demands of his profession compromised the quality of his care during our appointments. Dr. Kim does speak quickly, so I've found it helpful to prepare a list of concerns or questions before my visits. His fast-paced speaking style might catch you off guard at first, but I, along with others I know who see him, truly believe he cares about his patients' well-being. Over the years, I've experienced other doctors who seemed impatient, condescending, distracted, or even annoyed by my concerns. That has never been the case with Dr. Kim. He is consistently respectful, particularly when discussing sensitive decisions, such as tapering off or starting new medications. He's also very helpful in providing referrals when needed, which I greatly appreciate. While this isn't a critique of Dr. Kim himself, I've occasionally faced long wait times at his office--sometimes over an hour in the lobby, followed by an extended wait in the exam room. To minimize this, I recommend scheduling early morning appointments whenever possible. In my experience, earlier appointments tend to run on time much more consistently. Overall, Dr. Kim is a dedicated and compassionate physician. Despite the occasional delays, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking a reliable and caring primary care provider.

I've been seeing Dr. Steven Kim since he started in practice. We have grown older together. His best trait is that HE LISTENS and he trusts what the patient tells him. NO ARROGANCE EVER. Dr. Kim is extremely collaborative and will work with the patient to achieve mutually agreed upon goals. One never feels rushed when visiting with him. He is simply an OUTSTANDING PHYSICIAN.

Dr. Kim spends a lot of time with you going over your health and all your concerns. Highly recommend him. The office staff, nurses, and techs are all very nice as well.
