I had surgery scheduled for 11/10/25, I was into see Maddy for pre surgery authorization. Everything was great. On 11/07 I got a text message from the surgery schedular that the paperwork was never received, and my surgery had to be rescheduled. On 11/10, I went to the clinic on Algonquin and picked up the paperwork myself. I am now rescheduled for 12/10/25. Not happy because your office had almost three weeks and could not deliver the paperwork on time.
An excellent service. Avani Patel is just awesome. Every visit I take my mom there she takes her time and explain everything in detail.
This facility provides a well rounded approach to care and it is nice to be listened to. The van service is invaluable. I appreciate the appointment reminders. Edited- While my first impressions were good, I suddenly found myself without my regular provider. The clinic was unable to adequately cover the shortage resulting in lack of care. The provider I was reassigned to refused to provide prescriptions that I had been receiving from primary care doctors for years. I was unable to get appointments for acute issues. The inadequate response to staffing issues was a big concern.
I didn't quite know what to expect from my first visit, more like a meet and greet, it was WONDERFUL!!! I will be having a new primary care physician after seeing the same doctor for almost seven years!!! I think that they are getting it right for all of us more mature adults that are in their second acts!!! I look forward to a long and healthy relationship at Oak Street Health. Do NOT go here if you want real medical care! Since Dr. Papadolis left, no one in this office cares about medical problems or patients a a person! As a physician myself and trying to get basic care for my mother, it's like pulling teeth to get anyone to answer the phone, let alone make an appointment or call back. There is NO DOCTOR at this location!
