George Katsamakis, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Katsamakis since 2005 for my MS. He has seen me through the unpredictable progress of this disease with compassion, reliability, knowledge and humor. I truly consider him the best doctor I have ever had! Honestly couldn't recommend him more. Or thank him.

I personally have had Dr. Katsamakis as neurologist for about 2-3 years now. I absolutely love his offices and his work. I had a health emergency had to get MRI's done and compare to previous ones. He always takes his time in explaining to you what he finds and makes sure that if you have questions they get answered. I would recommend him and his staff. Always on top of things and I feel heard. I recommend! The office staff are always fast paced and don't leave you waiting for days to hear back from doctors or just general questions. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Dr Katsamakis walked into the room like I was wasting his time, and it just got worse from there. His staff told me to only bring my most recent MRI, ( I informed them I have a lot I always bring they assured me he would only want to see my most recent MRI ) the doctor wanted all of them and when I told him that's what I was told to bring, he was extremely rude " They did not only tell you to bring that one". I have never felt so little and disrespected, I will never go back to him nor will I recommend him. People come to doctors for help, not to be reminded about how horrible people can be in the world. It just takes a moment to treat people with respect and empathy, do it with everyone!!! In the five minutes of time he took with me, he started asking about my symptoms then stopped writing and basically told me I was taking the symptoms off the internet. I have had these problems that are only getting worse for over 25 years, read my chart next time. Not everyone is out to get drugs, some people genuinely need help they are not getting elsewhere and doctors like you are why people give up and stop looking for help.

Dr. Katsamakis has been my Nuro for about 8 years now. I've had many things go on with me and he and my other Doctors have brought me back each time. He's great to speak with and understand, along with his Nurse?

I have been a patient of Dr Katsamakis for 20 years as I was diagnosed with MS in 2003 and he's an amazingly compassionate and thorough doctor who listens to every thing I have to say about what's going on with me no matter how long it takes during the appointment. My biggest fear is that he will retire because I won't ever be able to find another MS doctor that I love as much as I love him!
