Unfortunately sometimes doctors believe they are exempt from certain rules but insurance have their own rules and they supersede what doctors say. If I tell you my insurance says no that's not acceptable then its a no, but my doctor says it ok I've done it before; my insurance says we don't care what your doctor says it's not acceptable. The last thing I want to do is make multiple visits, if I'm coming then there's a problem. If I'm dealing with a issue that I've had for a while I want a good suggestion to give me some kind of long term relief, I'm a senior and I want this part of my life to be comfortable. She definitely tries to be good doctor and she listens although occasionally you may have to say it twice. Overall I believe that facility means to be a good place, but keep in mind these are just people and everyone has good and bad days while treating numerous patients daily. If someone would ask if I would recommend her I would definitely say Yes!

Dr Avani Patel is one of the best doctors on the planet, she's kind,caring, &compassionate and a great listener. Dr Patel works with seniors who need someone to be very patient and to treat them with respect; I would recommend Dr. Patel to any senior I love, she's the best!!!

Again was very nice but didn't make good decisions about my needs. I'm having a breathing problem but didn't get sent to a pulmonary specialist. She wanted to get me an oxygen tank not knowing if I needed it. They did 3 heart tests but never told me the results. I have been getting gel shots in my knees for 3 years and they have kept me from having pain. She said no that if I don't have pain I don't need the shots. There was more and it all led me to leaving her and Oak Street Health. I could have used a refill on my scripts to hold me over till I can get into a Primary Care Dr. But was told no.

Dr. Patel is a very caring, she has help me with many of my physical problems and she won't hesitate to get me a specialist. She listens to me , so that great... Very friendly and she smiles too, .

The doctor was fine I never got a follow up or someone to tell me when is my next appointment or call me I was seen once I think being a senior I would be informed
