My experience with my doctor was amazing as always! She's patient and kind. However, If I could, I would give a NO stars to the staff at the front desk. When I arrived, they refuses to check me in stating my chart was flagged for POSITIVE FOR COVID. I attempted to explain that I was in the ER the day before and they issued me a covid test, amongst other tests. Had I been positive, they would have told me before I was discharged. I was covid positive LAST year and they were reading the chart wrong. They told my doctor I was positive, so she had them change my appointment to a video visit. I argued back and forth with them until I went to another department and showed a nurse my test results on my phone. She accompanied me back to the other station and politely told them they were wrong. They corrected my appointment back to the regular visit, with no apology. Not only were they incorrect, refusing to listen to a patient and properly investigate is against company standards. My HIPPA privacy was violated because the other patient in the lobby heard the conversation. I was very embarrassed even though it was their mistake.
