Dr Pauwaa is the best cardiologist out there! He became my doctor when I was admitted unexpectedly with a heart valve condition while pregnant with my son, who was diagnosed with TAR Syndrome. Due to my heart condition and my son's condition I had to deliver him prematurely via csection in the main OR. Dr. Pauwaa was in the room talking me through everything so I could see my son born rather than be intubated. He listens to his patients and works with them to ensure they are co comfortable with the care they are receiving! His nurse Nancy has also been awesome. From discovering my heart condition...to delivering my son and ultimately having a mitral valve replacement this past October they have been helping me through it all. I can't thank them enough! I have been blessed with a phenomenal care team!
