Dr. Van Bergen was the attending physician for most of my 14 year old Lucas' post-op stay from open heart surgery. Dr V kept dad and I informed in so much detail and cared so compassionately for our son. Excellent sense of humor. He worked so well behind the scenes with surgeons and specialists, and brought all of that knowledge and next step info to us quickly. My only disappointment is that I can't continue my son's care in private practice with Dr. V. He's an Outstanding doctor with exceptional bedside manner!
