I love Dr Kim. I have been going to her for over 15 years. She is a thorough and listens and addresses all my concerns.

I am feeling deflated and confused after an appointment with Dr. Kim. I made a telehealth appointment with her - albeit, I didn't realize that this was an appointment meant for quick diagnoses, like strep or a cold - to discuss my frustration with my current doctors. I was hoping to show Dr. Kim my bloodwork and recent test results just to see if she had some guidance as far as a specialist or direction I should go next since I keep hitting dead ends with my current providers. While I recognize that she wasn't prepared for this kind of visit, I was truly shocked by how dismissive and insensitive she was as I was speaking. These are quotes that left me feeling confused and discouraged - and honestly, worse off than I was before I logged on. On my chronic stomach inflammation and mention of ulcers 3-4x a year: "How do you know that they are stomach ulcers? Oh, so they aren't actually diagnosed." On my frustration with my bloodwork always showing as normal despite my symptoms persisting: "Well that diagnosis is bioclinical so if your bloodwork is showing as normal, you should be happy." On asking if she thought any of my symptoms might be worth checking out with an allergist: "Why would you think you need that?" On inquiring about establishing as a patient with Duly: "If you want to establish as a patient you will not be able to do telehealth, you know. Also you're in the city... you probably don't want to come all the way to the suburbs. That's just not convenient or going to make sense for you." I'm glad the other reviews indicate that people have had good experiences with her - I just wish I could say the same.

Dr Kim is amazing. She is thorough, honest, straightforward and friendly.

Dr. Kim has always treated me with compassion and excellent care and medical advice. She is a wonderful doctor and person. She listens, and I always feel that she is treating me as a whole person, not just my current symptoms and issues. Her nursing staff are professional and compassionate. The office staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Dr. Kim is such a pleasure to work with and why she has been my doctor for over 25 years. I always feel listened to and heard when I visit her. She has the tough conversations but with compassion. I rarely ever have to wait for her. If you are looking for a doctor I highly recommend her.
