Edward-Elmhurst Heart Hospital

Dr. Goodwin is my dad's surgeon and cardiologist. Through his efforts, he has helped to determine medications, physical therapy, and what actions to take for heart health. Additionally, he assisted in ensuring my dad's work permitted him to take short-term disability. He has a wonderful personality, very respectful, and professional. He's kind and genuinely cares about his patient's wellbeing. Everyone in his office is personable and caring as well. His office is Midwest Cardiovascular Institute located on the 4th floor. I highly recommend Dr. Goodwin!

Heart hospital was fantastic. From Dr Foy and his staff, to all the nurses and techs in cardiac ICU, everyone was extremely professional and accommodating. Suzanne, Diana, Addy and Jackie were fabulous! Very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make Jamie comfortable and cared for. I can't thank them enough for all their hospitality and help with this procedure.

My wife is pregnant and 2/3 of the staff here has terrible bedside manner, telling her all sorts of alarmist information and the doctors constantly contradict eachother. She had an ultrasound less than 24 hours prior and the next doctor is telling her she is breech with absolutely no evidence. They constantly try to get her to induce early even though she and the baby are perfectly healthy and normal. They do not prioritize the emotional health and well-being of the patient, they seem like they prioritize their schedule. Incredibly unsatisfied with the professionalism at this hospital.

My father was in the heart hospital during Christmas holiday. The nurses and health techs were very friendly and helpful. The hospital was clean.

Very good experience with the ER staff! We've lived in many states throughout our lifetime and I can confidently say this hospital is very organized and efficient. The staff is competent and caring. Upon arrival a greeter showed us to a RN who gathered our info. She was front and center and gave specific instructions. She was in charge making our experience a breeze. We were then taken to registration, then escorted to triage. Upon our arrival in triage we were happily greeted by an RN and the ER doc. This hospital/ ER should be a model for other hospitals. Their bedside manner is amazing. They take charge to ensure a seamless process. Our nurse had a good sense of humor adding a little levity. No one is waiting unattended to for hours or even minutes. This ER runs like a Swiss watch! Other than the Cleveland Clinic, this is the best in the business! Before we knew it, we were moved to another room where we were greeting by an anesthesiologist and surgeon for an appendectomy. The surgery went well. Thank you Dr. Klade; Which we were grateful. It was a long day but they put us at ease. The waiting rooms are very clean! It's obvious everyone takes pride in their work. Edwards Hospital is a blessing! Thank you! Keep it up!
