After seeing my primary, I scheduled to get a heart monitor as she advised and got an appointment for two weeks after I saw her. Having changed my work schedule to be able to attend the appointment, the day of I received a voicemail stating that the appointment had been mis-scheduled and the location they scheduled me for only sees pediatric patients. I work with medical scheduling and mistakes happen. But it is unprofessional and careless to let their own error go unresolved for weeks until the day of the appointment. This is not routine bloodwork, this is a heart monitor. They may be wonderful with their pediatric patients. My primary is thorough, caring, and excellent. In my experience with multiple other departments, too much of Loyola is unprofessional and careless.
