Roger V. Hecker MD

Horrible. I went to Hecker a few times and never had a good experience. His ego and attitude can't be ignored. I switched to new place, however, my grandma (88 y/o) continued to see Hecker. She recently expressed concerns to him on her lack of energy, wheezing and loss of appetite. He told her "you worry too much". Finally took Grandma to a a new Doctor last week and she was immediately admitted to hospital. Her lung and stomach have been filled with fluid. Hecker didn't even listen to her lungs at her appt. Do not recommend seeing him under any circumstance

A good and caring doctor. He prescribed the right meds for me that helps my hypertension and other issues. He was there from day one of my thyroid cancer diagnosis. He referred me to the right specialist and assisted with all my needs. His staff is excellent as well. Dr Hecker thank you for everything. God bless you

Dr. Hecker is probably one of the smartest physicians I've ever had the opportunity to visit. He is thorough in his assessment and has a friendly and easygoing manner. Dr. Hecker applies his extensive knowledge to schedule appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. I would (and have) strongly recommend Dr. Hecker to my family and friends!

Worst doctor! If I could give zero stars I would. Stay clear of this place. He doesn't take mental health seriously. He considers psychiatrists councilors and states "the patient thinks or suspects he has ptsd" after a formal diagnosis from a psychiatrist. Risky words from a practicing physician. Also very rude to his staff. Definitely will never be back.

Did not like his bedside manner. Seemed more focused on his photos of planes then me. Would not recommend him- has a temper when his staff cannot read his mind. I felt uncomfortable during the visit. I found another MD and left Advocate.
