I would love to recommend Dr khan to anyone who needs help.

I had the extreme displeasure of dealing with this doctor twice during 2 different hospital stays. Dr. Khan does his rounds at 4am and has the horrible habit of entering a room on the cardiac floor by yelling his hello to wake you up - not a great plan for people dealing with heart issues. On his first visit with me, he spent 2 minutes in my room and made the general determination that my chest pain was not heart related (despite the other cardiologist requesting his review of my tachycardia and electrical function in my heart). Said I was having a 'muscular-skeletal' issue and to contact a gastroenterologist. I had a heart attack a week later. On his second visit with me, immediately following my heart attack and stent placement, he again entered the room at 4:20 am by yelling to wake me up, and then yelling a second time when I didn't respond. He stated that he had seen me in the office the week before and would go look at my chart and come back to talk to me. HE NEVER RETURNED. Per the nurse (who did not know he had even come in) he simply entered a notation in my file that the fibrillation issue was related to the heart attack and would not likely recur. That's it. No Follow-up, no discussion, no review of history of tachycardia. NOTHING. I do not recommend this doctor - for any cardiac care, urgent or otherwise.

I love that Dr Khan doesn't rush me and he takes all the time in the world to listen and to explain. Dr Khan has become in invaluable asset to my care team.
