Our staff includes highly trained technicians, nurses, and a board certified nurse practitioner which allows us to offer quality diagnostic testing in an office setting. Lake Heart Specialists is a private practice with affiliations to both Advocate Condell Hospital, as well as Vista Medical Center.

Dr. Jajah is a nice funny guy but, that doed not make it okay for a patient to wait for an hour and a half for their appointment. If the doctor is that far behind call the patients and tell them to come later or reschedule. Our time is just as important as his. Maybe most patients are retired but the people that come with may not be.
Had appointment to see Dr. Chow at 5 pm. Showed up 12 min early in case there was any paperwork or copays due before the actual consultation. This was my second visit so I was pretty sure no paperwork would be needed. I was taken into a room and left for 45 minutes. The lack of communication is astounding as well as the poor time management. Communication goes a long way. Just saying the Dr is running behind would you like to reschedule or even a call ahead of time saying come later would be appreciated. They send this ridiculously long text to confirm you are coming for your appointment, they expect you on time and then leave you waiting. I'm sure he's a great cardiologist but the office scheduling needs an overhaul and all of them could learn to be more communicative and how to manage their appts and their patients time. Not all of us can sit for over an hour waiting to see a Dr.
Office staff was courteous and thorough. Check in was quick and easy. Waited for approx. 45 minutes for the doctor. I am not complaining as doctor was worth the wait. He took a history, checked my vitals and advised me of the plan of action. I was relieved by his thoroughness. I would recommend Lake Heart and Dr. Koch highly.
Took a vacation day for my visit today. Got into a fender bender on the way to my visit and showed up 13 minutes late. Made me reschedule my appointment. Completely unaccommodating to a one-off situation not good for business and extremely unprofessional. After how much they charge insurance and scam insurance they should be more accommodating. Will not ever promote or be going back here. Terrible business
Waited over an hour in the exam room! I guess the patients time isn't worth anything? Now trying to get 2 prescriptions filled and have called 5 times leaving detailed messages about the prescriptions and which pharmacy to send to. Not once has a person answered the phone so I could speak to them. Only received 1 call back after I left the 3rd message asking why no one has returned my calls? They don't listen to the messages so don't waste your time leaving one! This Doctor's Office needs a lot of help!!
