Fahd Jajeh, MD

Dr. Jajeh has a great reputation. He came highly recommended by a number of my physicians as well as my 34 year old son. He had been seeing me because I continually felt weak and was having dizzy spells. Ultimately I ended up needing a Pacemaker. My operation and care was wonderful. My life has improved dramatically thanks to Dr Jajeh. He is a highly skilled cardiologist and I consider him a friend to me and my son.

I would not recommend this doctor for younger people with chronic pain disorders. Even though he gave me the test my rheumatologist said I needed (albeit reluctantly), I left the appointment feeling discouraged, upset, not believed, and unheard. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and told him I was feeling achey later in the appointment. When I said I was achey, even though I told him what my diagnosis was, he asked "Why do you feel achey?"... and I had to tell him I have fibromyalgia again. He proceeded to tell me "You're young, you'll be fine" with what I perceived to be a condescending smile. He then proceeded to take a five minute phone call in the middle of my appointment in front of me, then when he got off the phone he said to me "So, what were we talking about? The price of rice?" I would also like to inform Jajeh and one other person on the medical staff I interacted with that being older is not part of the criteria for an individual to be diagnosed with a chronic pain disorder and it can happen at ANY age. Needless to say, I did not feel I was taken seriously and never came back. I cried after the appointment.

I was referred to Dr.JaJeh as I had an abnormal EKG. It was my first visit. He put me at ease with his warm and pleasant manner. He was thorough as he asked me about my medical history, tests, and lab results, and then he examined me. I was scheduled to have a procedure the next day. In his opinion, it was inadvisable. I asked him to phone the other doctor to discuss my case. He did so right away, and it was cancelled. Then had his staff call for other tests that I needed. I was very impressed by the care I was given.
