Dr Ho fired me as a patient which was a blessing in disguise. I ended up finding an integrative physician at Duly who has time to listen, understands that its about root cause of illness not just treating the symptoms. How hilarious, Dr Ho said I need to follow the standard American diet....I think we all know the standard American diet is garbage, she also keeps brushing off symptoms. if it was not for me advocating, I would be deathly ill.
Dr. Hope was excellent. As usual, she listens to my concerns and offers appropriate advice. Her manner is friendly and I never seem rushed.
I am responding to this feedback survey to express my concern regarding the service I received during my recent visit with Dr. Hope at the Glen Ellyn location on August 26th. During the visit, Dr. Hope did not address several of the concerns that I had initially raised with the nurse, which left me feeling unheard and dismissed. When I attempted to discuss all of my concerns, Dr. Hope stated that she would only address two issues per visit, which seemed unreasonable given the context of the appointment. This policy was not communicated to us beforehand, and the manner in which this limitation was conveyed by Dr. Hope came across as rude and dismissive. I understand that doctors have busy schedules, but we believe that all patients deserve to feel listened to and have their health concerns addressed comprehensively during each visit. I was especially disappointed by the lack of empathy shown during this visit. I do not plan on seeing Dr. Hope again, and will continue searching for a new doctor.
Since I have specialists outside of Duly, I was appreciative Dr. Hope help me coordinate pertinent information from them and remind me of the upcoming tests. She personally suggested possible solutions for problems and commented on blood tests in a very timely manner. I was pleased. Diana Mitchell
