Loyola Medicine Elmhurst

Worst Loyola location. Front desk staff is condescending. I had to repeat my last name three times. Clerk kept pulling up the wrong person and all that caused me to miss my appointment. Ramirez is not that difficult to understand. It does not sound like Martinez at all. I was within the grace period when I arrived but not after all that "confusion". Just bad all around.

Absolute clowns at this organization and I wish I could give them zero stars. Mary Lynn has zero compassion and would rather berate her patients for their weight instead of helping with their problems. I was refused the medication I normally have prescribed due to her "not liking" my weight. Also had a medical student join us WITHOUT my consent. The cherry-on-top was being billing $151 after seeing the doctor for TWO MINUTES and not having the actual exam done. Don't go here unless you want to leave in tears like I did and then get sent a ridiculous bill for services that were not provided. I can't wait to find a new doctor who actually cares about her patients instead of treating them like dirt.

This is in regards to Loyola's CALL CENTER....they are AWFUL. Please if you are in ADMIN, LISTEN to recording dated 11/7/22 at appr 9:50 am -9:58 am & again at 1:54PM. I called in the AM, was told to wait up to 4 hrs to hear back. Heard nada. I called in the pm, was told I never called. Then admitted I did call after arguing and being rude. Again said would have my dr get back to me. He always gets back to me....next day and still nothing. I suspect he NEVER got the MESSAGE....had I not called back in the pm, they wouldn't have even been aware they FORGOT to send it over? And did they forget again the second time? Shoddy service.

We are new to Elmhurst and visited Elmhurst Pediatrics to inquire about taking my daughter there, we had an absolutely awful experience with the reception staff. There were 3 women in the reception area and they were horrible, condescending and rude. I can't say anything about the doctors in this facility, but with the unacceptable behavior of the staff I will keep away from this place.

My first time seeing a new doctor from this clinic. Front staff was nice but my new doctor Dr. M. McMahon was attentive, calm and gracious, reassuring and trustworthy. This is a start of a beautiful relationship.
