Patient
Dr. Venturini was kind and made it easy and comfortable to ask questions throughout his care with me. However...I unfortunately did not receive the outcome I was hoping for. -I was seeing him for a few weeks for heart flutters accompanied by lightheadedness, some shortness of breath and sometimes a racing heartbeat.- I did my research on Dr. Venturini and he seemed knowledgeable and promising, so I took a chance, hoping I'd get some answers as to why I was experiencing these symptoms. I had an ekg done of my chest, ultrasound of my heart, and I had to wear a heart monitor for a week. I was assuming there must be some answer/outcome he could give me after all that. He expressed to me that there was nothing wrong with my heart, it sounded strong,(which I'm not complaining about, I know that was good), BUT I was told twice in my few weeks with him that, "if I believe there is nothing wrong, then my symptoms will stop". I was confused and disappointed in this response. Now I clearly can't make my symptoms stop; since they come at random times throughout the day. So I was annoyed to say the least, that I was paying $100 every visit just for him to tell me basically if I "believe it enough, it'll all stop". I didn't think an educated cardiologist would leave me with that. Nevertheless, he gave me medicine to help "bandage" the symptoms-metaphorically- instead of helping me figure out why I keep having my symptoms and how to cure them. I was happy to hear my heart was healthy, but I was extremely disappointed that Dr. Venturini couldn't help me figure out what's causing my symptoms. He was nice and knowledgeable about what he knew specifically, but obviously not enough to help me get to the bottom of my issue. At this point I will be seeking another cardiologists care.
