Terrible doctor's office in my experience and opinion and terrible service. While Dr. Edwards is a good doctor, the support staff in the office (not nurses) are terrible. Example: If I am suddenly sick and need to see my PCP, I don't expect the earliest appointment to be 1.5 weeks away or more (sometimes months). Gone are the days when if you get really sick you can see your PCP in 48 hours or less. Even when contacting the doctor's office directly, they don't care about getting you in if you're sick unless there's a cancellation. By that time, you're either better, or much worse off, and need more than an appointment with your PCP. ANYONE should be able to contact their doctor when they are severely sick and be seen within 48 hours for whatever the issue is. It's absurd to expect you to go to urgent care, with a doctor you don't know, who doesn't have your history, to sit around for hours and hours to be seen for illness, and not see your PCP. The staff does not respond to pharmacy refills in my experience. I know that Walgreens calls them (I was even there once and saw them do it). Yet on several occasions I have had to wait more than a week for refills. Why? Because I had to follow up with the doctor's office to fill them! They "say" they didn't get the refill requests from the pharmacy. Then turn the tables on you and say it's your fault, or the pharmacy's fault the refills didn't happen because they were not received at the doctor. When you get upset, you get blamed for their lack of professionalism and timely response. While the doctors and nurses are good here (except for Dr. Malewicz - In my opinion), the rest of the support staff make the experience almost unbearable, and makes this a doctor's office that is terrible and offers substandard care and patient satisfaction. My suggestion is to find a good doctor with a better support staff either inside or outside Northwestern Medicine.

This is a fairly new very nice location for medical offices, lab and imaging. It's modern and clean with free parking. It also has an immediate care center.

My wife and I were seen by multiple doctors at NM and never did anyone check our insurance eligibility and verify if they accepted our insurance. They registered us, they have the insurance card, they see it all! After understanding the situation I was trying to make an OB appointment for my pregnant wife and again, they attempted to schedule her with two different out-of-network doctors. I work in health insurance and know it is overly complicated, but they do not even try to verify or take responsibility for matching us with in-network doctors. After calling ten different numbers for the medical group for making an OB appointment there were none available for months out. We had to leave and go else where. I liked my doctor there but the medical group does not do its job and if my insurance does not make an exception then we will be stuck with thousands of dollars of bills because of their negligence (and my misunderstanding). I do not recommend.

Really bad front desk service. Very rude lady, she didn't validate my parking ticket and told me to" sit over there" and gave my ticket back without validating it.

There are the scheduling delays common to most medical systems, but the personnel are more polite and the waiting areas are calmer, less crowded, and more peaceful than at the main complex in Streeterville.
