Patient
Dr. Valverde is awesome. Best doctor I have personally had. The staff is the problem. The women working in front speak to me in a disrespectful manor, they have hung up on me multiple times. Today I was hung up on because I had an appointment yesterday, didn't get email or text confirmation and forgot the time of the appointment. Also I scheduled it a week beforehand. I called at 9:15am and left a voicemail due to no answer. At 11:15am I called back. They answered. I asked what time my appointment was. She said it was at 1:00PM. I said I was glad I called back again when I did after no response to my voicemail two hours beforehand. She told me they don't open until 9:30am(Google says 9:00am). I said I left the voicemail at 9:15am so that's an insulting excuse. She said we are busy and that I was the only person insulted here. Then she hung up. Anytime I go there for my appointment, Dr. Juanita Valverde treats me with respect, and consideration, her staff is terrible. I honestly feel me being a white man has something to do with it because they won't look me in the eyes when speaking to me, they speak in a rude tone, but when they speak to Hispanic people right in front of me while I'm in the waiting room sitting there, they switch right up with there attitudes, they get jolly and respectful real quick. I don't write reviews ever. Literally wrote less than 5 reviews in my life time. They are always positive. Sad because Dr. Valverde is an amazing doctor, just the staff at Galilee is terrible. I canceled my appointment today that I rescheduled after the woman on the phone hung up on me. I will be changing my primary care provider only because I don't want to have to deal with disrespectful staff anytime I make a simple check up doctors appointment for my B12 shot lol.
