Dr. Valluvan Jeevanandam, MD

I wish there were 10 stars. First, Dr. J. Is a very humble man, but the most brilliant man I have ever met. My husband received a heart transplant at U of C/Dr. J. At the end of August, 2012. He knew how close my husband was and he made the heart transplant happen, with lining everything up and getting him on the list. While my husband passed about two years later, I (and he) am very grateful for the two years we had that we never would have seen. My husband had been very sick for 16 years prior to his transplant.

Dr J did my heart transplant at temple hospital in Philadelphia. He is such a kind,, compassionate caring dr and man. I do t accept blood and he took his time doing the transplant being very cautious. He said if I know what I'm doing that's not even an issue and he was so right! He's so amazing I text him every year to thank him for all he has done for me. I have got to see my children grow and grandchildren now great grandchildren! What a blessing he is. He is one a kind very special who I will always cherish for saving my life . Today is 27 years thank you Dr J
