UChicago Medicine at Ingalls - Calumet City

I brought my 9 month in daughter in due to bleeding and I had to still wait in the lobby for a whole hour which was expected . We got called to the back and the nurse came in and said the doctor would be in shortly . Time goes by it's a whole hour later , sh comes back in to ask what's goin on so I explain and show pictures, she says she will get a bag to get a sample from my 9 month old daughter, it took her 45 minutes to bring a PEE BAG while in those 45 minutes my daughter already used the bathroom before the bag. After she puts the bag on she ask me has the doctor seen me which is evident I would think you guys communicate amongst one another. I told her no it's been a whole hour and nobody has even checked to see what was going on. She just continued to say the doctor will be in shortly, I waited another HOUR and still NOTHING. You nurses and doctors say this urgent care failed my daughter and the only time they were even the slightest concerned was when I got up to leave out with both of my daughters, which is rude asking so I want the pee bag off of my daughter when the concern wasn't even about her BLEEDING! Everyone was just standing around talking doing NOTHING! The only slightest person who did their job correctly the best was the man in the triage. I will never bring my children back here.

Currently waiting to be seen. The reception by security left at about 3 pm. She had me sign in but let walk ins get checked in before me. The she had someone else sign in and forgot to call him because she left. She's playing with people's health and needs to be a better system. I like this hospital and staff. She asked me my symptoms and I tell her and she then asks me why do I think im dehydrated smh. She wasn't friendly with me like everyone else and if I hadn't gone uo to the desk she would have forgotten about me.

I had a really good experience and didn't have to wait long for my appointment. Gina at the front desk was great, as well as I think Mike who did my X-rays. Norma the assistant to doctor and Dr. Miz were really wonderful. Dr. Miz listened and reassured me that my injury from a recent fall is healing well, and that I'm okay! The facility was clean and security was welcoming. Free parking was easy.

Today my husband had surgery and his entire team was awesome they not only fixed him they also kept me informed throughout his procedure I would like to say thank you to Dr. Nigro his surgeon and to the RN Yolanda and Diana and also the CA Hayley and even the transporter Jada I'm sure there's many more but these are the professionals that stood out the most and made us feel welcomed and took the time to talk to us and not make my husband feel like another patient passing through we were well informed during his discharge about pain meds to follow up appointments and what to expect during his healing process so thank you all again I no my husband will have a speedy recovery

I'm here right now and the care I have received has been excellent. All of the staff I encountered were great and very professional.
