Patient
My mom-Meena Advaney-was Farrah Hussain's patient. After Mrs. Hussain neglected to diagnose her, Meena died on July 22nd of congestive heart failure. We were first told by Rush Copley ER in 2019 that my mom had congestive heart failure. At a follow up with Farrah Hussain in 2020, Mrs. Hussain dismissed Meena's traumatic hospitalization as "a virus." My mom's congestive heart failure went undiagnosed and untreated for 3 years. My mom never recovered from that 2019 hospitalization, suffering unexplained and dismissed fatigue and weakness for 3 years. Shortness of breath again prompted Rush Copley hospitalization on December 2 of 2022. My mom was again diagnosed with CHF from Rush Copley, then home care and medication regimen started. The 2022 diagnosis was too late. My mom was already dying. We were given a prognosis of 19 months written on her after visit summary, but not said out loud. Over her 19 month "disease progression" and escalating symptoms, my mom was repeatedly referred to ER, only to be discharged home more sick and debilitated. The monthly pattern of futile debilitating hospitalizations continued to her death. Only a month after my mom endured the pacemaker surgery advised by Farah Hussain, my mom suffered her last emergency hospitalization on the 4th of July. My mom died on July 22nd of CHF, leaving me alone with the flashing pacemaker monitor. The cremated pacemaker scored $22,000 to "The Provider". My mom suffered and died from negligence and dismissal of her heart condition when it first occurred in 2019. Advocate Health Care and Rush Copley Hospital slowly killed my mom over her last decade, and someone profited $22,000 from her "disease progression".
