St. Joseph Cardiology Clinic

I was greeted warmly and did not have to wait very long for my actual appointment. Initially I was seen by the nurse who did initial paperwork. She listened carefully and made notes/changes to my medical records and did my EKG. After about 5 minutes my.physician assistant came to complete my exam. She was very professional and provided any clarification I needed. The entire process was vey professional and yet, personal. Thanks

My experience was excellent. My medicine was changed slightly and everything was explained to me and understood what to do moving ahead was very clear and easy to understand. I was very pleased with Nicole Dwyer and will be meeting with her again in late October to review my situation.

Communication between staff and doctors was poor. I was air lifted from Pullman specifically to have nuclear stress test, echo, and heart cath. Pullman can do nuclear stress test and echo but not on weekends.Upon my arrival at St. Joseph's staff didn't seem to know what was going on and the hospital doctor seemed relatively unconcerned about my diagnosis from Pullman Regional Hospital. The next day, Sunday nothing seemed to be happening until I expressed to staff that if these procedures were not going to be done, I would be leaving the facility. That was relayed by staff to the cardiologist on call who was from another hospital assisting St.Joseph's due to under staffing at your facility. It was not the staff's fault for what was NOT happening! Again, communication issues seem to be a problem. This was very disconcerting for me because I was concerned about what had happened to me and wanted answers. I will NOT recommend St. Joseph's hospital to anyone needing medical assistance.

As a nurse I always wondered who would be there in the future to care for me. In retirement I am now in need of that care. Being diagnosed with severe heart failure last spring I turned to the facility that had employed me for 22 years. Prior to that I received excellent training on clinical days at St.Joes as a nursing student. While the hospital has changed greatly the attitude has not. That attitude is serve the LORD while serving the community through exceptional health care. I'm extremely grateful for Kayla Miller, APRN, Dr. Edward Kim, MD, Nicole Dwyer, PA, and all the support services that helped bring me through this challenging season. God bless...

I just sat down in the waiting room and they called me back to the exam room. The assistant took my H &P and within 3 minutes Nicole the PA was in the exam room and we were chatting about why I was there for my appointment. Very fast and thorough appointment.
