Marek Janout, MD

My husband and I are former patients of Dr Janout that left his practice 4 years ago due to his move to Coeur d Alene. We didnt drive so we had to find a cardiologist in Spokane. We never found a Doctor that had such a good report with his patients. He is very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable We are happy to be back in his care

I had a POSSIBLE heart incident. I was referred to Marek Janout, M.D. by my primary care physician. This was supposed to have been after an echo cardiogram, which was NOT done because the authorization was not received from primary care. Dr. Janout talked with me extensively and thoroughly determined symptoms, and arranged for followup tests. I am very pleased with the provided service.

My experience was superb. The doctors and staff were efficient and provided excellent care. The only uncomfortable experience I had was with the CPAP machine, which had a very heavy hose that pulled the mask away from my face and really didn't seal properly, over my mustache. I realize that it is difficult for a hospital to accommodate all sorts of CPAP masks, but a nose-pillow type is essential for many people. Also, if the hose is suspended, it will not pull away from the face and blow cold air into the eyes. Anyway, the overall experience was good and the staff put up with a grumpy old man who was in constant pain from sciatica.

I've been seeing Dr. Janout annually for several years. I appreciate his personality, listening to my concerns and providing honest answers to my questions.
