Kootenai Heart Clinics - Coeur d'Alene

In my opinion this is the best place on earth. They've saved my life and more importantly have given me quality of life. The entire team works together so the "right hand knows what the left hand is doing" so to speak. And I wouldn't trade my Cardiologist Dr Notestine for anyone. He makes sure I'm healthy enough to go to Hawaii every year.

It was my first visit with my cardiologist, Aaron Notestine, M.D. I had a great experience with him, very helpful and insightful, the rest of this has nothing negative to say about Heart Clinic staff. But the EKG machine didn't work properly, but after my Doctor came in and we went over his stuff, his technician found another machine and lucky me got to take off my two shirts and Vest off again, which isn't very fun for me, and the day before my appointment I called my old girlfriend to come meet me and do lunch and visit, because I had another appointment hour after the Heart Clinic appointment, but her and her daughter and I guess 7 other people got stuck in the elevator, which allowed us 10 minutes maybe to visit, and may I remind whomever reads these that I'm 61 mobility not great, but cute as a button, that she was my 34 year old, really hot ex-girlfriend who I broke up with, that I barely got to spend anytime with, thanks elevator repair man. So Kootenai Health maintenance needs to repair the EKG machine and the elevator that goes straight to Heart Clinic please. I hear OTIS does a pretty good job on elevators if maintenance is busy ? I'm also assuming because of my response to your survey, will probably get me off that list im guessing. Thanks Bob K

I liked Dr Michel very much. He is very personable. He had knowledge regarding my condition and took time to explain why it was important to get my medicine that was recommended. The staff was all very pleasant as well.

Arrived here the day following my 84th birthday for an angiogram. The facility, the staff, the attitude of everyone there was professional, caring and FRIENDLY! Great communication, efficient activities for all aspects of my needs and procedures invites an A+ for them! Thanks, folks! - Michael

I am new to Idaho and decided on Kootenai health. I finally got in two doctor appointments. The cardiologist was very good. He noticed the things that my previous doctor had me look at. But my family doctor was highly unprofessional and was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Her assistant said that they allow 30 minutes for appointments, so I put my timer on for 30 minutes. The previous appointment with her, I didn't get all my questions answered so I wanted to make sure I got them all in this time. The doctor was highly triggered by me doing that and decided to leave the room and then never came back. So I didn't get all of my questions answered other than she was not the appropriate doctor for me.
