I brought my friend in here for a extremely painful but not life-threatening situation and he was prescribed fentanyl why doctors would prescribe fentanyl to somebody that is not an addict and is not terminal. I don't understand. He was given Dilaudid last night and it worked better. He was in less pain. The fentanyl has only brought the pain down to about a six where the Dilaudid took the pain down to like a three, yet the doctor chose to use fentanyl, which is a highly addictive and highly dangerous substance is beyond me.
