Kevin Kavanaugh, MD

Dr. Kavanaugh is the MOST knowledgeable AND competent member of the Kootenai Heart Clinic. His expertise and dedication to help patients live a more meaningful life is beyond words!! His training and years of dedication takes patient care to a level not reached elsewhere. I am truly blessed to have Dr. Kavanaugh as my personal physician and he's promised me that I'll live to the end of time....if I behave myself. Seriously...I trust Dr. Kavanaugh with my life. Rest assured, you can also. Just say that Ron says "Hi".

Dr Kavanaugh always takes time to answer all our questions and concerns. He discusses how we should proceed and why and and then makes sure we are completely satisfied with the course of action. I couldn't be more satisfied. All personnel that we were contacted from receptionist to medical people were very professional and helpful.

I was scheduled for a left heart cath on May 9th by Dr. Kevin Havanaugh. I am very happy to report that I have never received better care at any other facility in my life and I am 77 years old. That is why I wrote a personal letter of thanks and dropped it off along with 2 dozen donuts to the staff at the heart center. Everyone worked together so efficiently and the care was excellent. My sincere "Thanks" to Dr. Kavanaugh and the staff at the heart center that day.

Dr. Kevin Kavanaugh is a real asset to Kootenai Heart Clinic. He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I've been his patient since 2010 when he discovered I needed heart surgery. He's taken good care of me ever since.

My experience with KH was excellent! I had an echocardiogram and a heart stress test done here last week. The technician was courteous and explained what she was as doing the entire procedure. My heart stress test was completed by a long time RN. He explained everything very thoroughly, probably the best patient service I've ever received.!!
